Andy Sandler, CPC, is the founder and managing partner of The Sandler Group, a retained executive search firm exclusively serving healthcare organizations throughout the United States. With more than 10 years of experience as an advisor to senior management, Sandler has a proven track record for helping build and reshape organizations through key management staffing decisions. He provides overall leadership for The Sandler Group’s search operations, directing both the business development and the fulfillment process.

During the past decade, Sandler has completed more than 140 recruiting engagements. The focus of his search work has been the placement of C-level executives and Vice Presidents/Directors across all functional disciplines.

Sandler began his search career with a top 20 executive search firm in St. Louis, Missouri. His consistent performance ranked him as one of the leading consultants in the firm’s 25-year history. Prior to this, he was employed at the largest accounting and business consulting firm in St. Louis, Missouri.

In 2001, Sandler earned the Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) designation from the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS), the staffing industry’s most reputable association and educator.

Sandler was appointed to the NAPS Board of Directors in 2009 and has served as an officer with the Mid-America Association of Personnel and Staffing Services (MAPSS) since 2002, currently as Treasurer. From 2003-2007, Sandler was Vice President of the MAPSS Executive Board. In 2007, he became a member, by invitation, of the International Retained Search Associates, an exclusive association of retained executive search consultants.

Sandler holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University. He resides in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife Angela and daughter Joie.
