Phase Two - Research and Recruitment
Once we have worked with you to gather necessary information, The Sandler Group develops a strategy to identify the best candidates and determines the best way to market the opportunity. This step is critical to the search process—we must attract candidates’ interest during our first contact!
During this phase we research organizations to identify potential candidates using a variety of methods: direct recruitment, personal contacts, our internal database, extensive telephone networking, and when appropriate, print and/or electronic advertisements. When we identify potential candidates, we distribute the position specification and speak with interested individuals to assess their qualifications and interest in the opportunity. Based on these conversations, we refine the pool of candidates and create a target list of the best candidates.
We then interview and assess the target-list individuals for skills, cultural fit, and ability to do the job. When candidate interviews are complete, we perform reference checks to verify professional accomplishments and personal style. We also use an online assessment system to understand the individual's behavioral style in the work environment. The personalized report generated by this analysis provides helpful insight into the candidate’s organizational and cultural fit.
The Sandler Group then presents a short list of qualified candidates—usually no more than five—to you for your consideration.
